At Hogg we will strive to be a family in which all staff, students, parents/guardians, grandparents, and community members work together in a spirit of mutual respect and affection. As a team, our goal is to ensure every student has a great school year by doing her/his very best, treating others with respect, and maturing into a responsible young person. Our staff will strive to teach each individual student as if they were our own. Together, we will meet the challenges and concerns that arise with a spirit of teamwork, mutual respect and kindness, and a careful assessment of the matter at hand. Here at Hogg Middle School we define success on an individual basis. Each student is a wonderful important young person of worth and value. Each staff member is a dedicated professional committed to the highest level of educational service.
Key to our success is ongoing, positive, effective communication. First and foremost, my office is always open. Please call for an appointment and I will give you all the time you need. Email me or a staff member as needed. Visit our campus website regularly for schedules and events and important messages. Communicate with our staff regularly as our staff will do the same! Let us commit to proactive, positive communication.
NEW THIS YEAR: Please join us in our regularly scheduled parent/guardian and grandparent outreach luncheons. These will run from 11 am – 1:30 pm at scheduled times throughout the school year. We will provide lunch so that our community and family members can join us in getting to know each other. There will be programs for those attending. Also a Question/Answer time will be scheduled in which you can learn how to become a key participating member of the Hogg Middle School Team and ask questions of our Hogg Middle School administration and staff. Students will receive bonus points/grades for family member attendance.
In closing, let’s make the 2014-2015 a great school year. GO RAZORBACKS !
